Klarbeam Sdn Bhd (“Klarbeam”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a company incorporated in Malaysia (SSM Reg. No. 202601019093 / 1681190-M). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data submitted through the klarbeam.com website (the “Site”), in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and applicable international standards.

1. Information we collect

We collect personal data only when you actively submit it through our contact form. The fields are:

• Your name — required, to address you in our reply.
• Email address — required, to send our reply.
• Company name — optional, to understand your context.
• Message content — required, to understand what you’re asking about.

We do not collect cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party analytics or advertising tool on this Site. Essential cookies may be set by our hosting provider (Netlify) for security and basic site function only.

2. How we use your information

We use the personal data you submit only to:

• Reply to your inquiry by email.
• Maintain a record of correspondence for legitimate business and audit purposes.
• Comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

We never use your data for unsolicited marketing, newsletter mailings, or sharing with sales partners. We never sell your data to any third party.

3. Who has access to your data

Your data may be processed by the following parties strictly for the purposes above:

• Klarbeam Sdn Bhd employees and contractors with a business need to know.
• Netlify, Inc. (our hosting and form-processing provider) for the technical reception and delivery of your form submission. Netlify operates infrastructure in the United States and the European Union. See netlify.com/privacy.
• Email service providers we use to receive your message at hello@klarbeam.com.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties unless legally compelled to do so by competent authorities under Malaysian law.

4. How long we keep your data

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter for business reference, typically not exceeding three (3) years. Records required by Malaysian tax, accounting, or other legal obligations may be retained longer in accordance with statutory minimums.

5. Your rights under the PDPA

Under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Withdraw consent for processing of your data.
• Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
• Limit the processing of your data, where applicable.

6. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All form submissions are transmitted over TLS (HTTPS) encryption. Access to submitted data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

7. International transfers

Because our hosting provider operates infrastructure outside Malaysia, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions including the United States and the European Union. We rely on contractual safeguards with our processors to ensure equivalent levels of protection consistent with PDPA requirements.

8. Children’s data

Our Site is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, children under the age of 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent change was made. Material changes will be reasonably communicated.
